In late fall of 2020, we were delighted to hire Nagisa Sharp to our team.

Nagisa was born into an artistic family — her mother was a professional artist and her dad a musician. Her attraction to art growing up led to a degree in Art History from the University of Washington. From there, she got a job doing administrative work at a jewelry company, which sparked her interest in jewelry fabrication. She began studying jewelry design at North Seattle Community College.

She then moved to Santa Fe, attracted to the artistic traditions and natural environment, and completed her jewelry degree at Santa Fe Community College. She apprenticed for two years with one of Santa Fe’s top jewelers. In addition to working for us, Nagisa has been teaching an introductory jewelry course at Santa Fe Community College.

We're thrilled to have her!
